Cambridge English

Cambridge English Language Assessment, which is specialised in language testing, administers around 1.5 million tests in 135 countries worldwide every year. It is also a member of ALTE (Association of Language Testers in Europe) http://www.alte.org, an institution whose primary focus is to provide high-quality language tests that must meet strict standard requirements.

All the exams must adhere to European standard CEFR levels (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).

Cambridge Certificates are accepted by universities, employers and organisations worldwide. They can be converted to study credits in most Italian universities.

Università Politecnica Delle Marche has been an Authorised Centre for Cambridge English Certifications since 2000 for the following levels:
Cambridge English: Preliminary (PET) - CEFR B1
Cambridge English: First (FCE) - CEFR B2
Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) - CEFR C1
Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE) - CEFR C2.

For CSAL Helen O'Gorman is in charge of Cambridge Certifications.
