Lauree Magistrali Faculty of Economics – English language requirement

FACULTY OF ECONOMICS - ADMISSION TO MASTER’S DEGREE PROGRAMMES

Students PRE-REGISTERED on the following Master’s Degree Programmes MUST PROVE THEIR KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH VIA AN ENTRY TEST:
  • DATA SCIENCE PER L’ECONOMIA E LE IMPRESE (requirement B1)
  • ECONOMIA E MANAGEMENT (requirement B1)
  • MANAGEMENT DELLA SOSTENIBILITA’ ED ECONOMIA CIRCOLARE (requirement B1)
  • SCIENZE ECONOMICHE E FINANZIARIE (requirement B1)
  • INTERNATIONAL ECONOMICS AND COMMERCE (requirement B2)

Candidates who DO NOT have the required B1 or B2 level language certificate MUST PROVE THEIR KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH VIA AN ENTRY TEST.

ON THE DAY OF THE TEST, PRE-REGISTERED STUDENTS MUST BRING A VALID IDENTITY DOCUMENT WITH THEM.

 

Some information about the test and advice to prepare for it:
1.     No books, dictionaries and personal electronic devices are allowed.
2.     The entry test is computer-based and has 3 parts (Grammar, Use of English, Listening). After finishing each part it is not possible to go back to change the answers.
3.     The test lasts for 45 minutes, with a set time for each of the 3 parts.
4.     There are 38 multiple choice questions with only one correct answer for each question.
5.     It is possible to hear the listening comprehension text twice.
6.     The results of the test will not be published but sent to the Committees.

8.     It is advisable to prepare for the entry test using material specific for level B1 or B2 (for example a textbook for Cambridge English: Preliminary – B1 preparation or Cambridge English: First – B2 preparation).
