Attendance is compulsory for at least 65% of the lessons.

Examination
At the end of the course, that is, at the end of the first semester of the Second Year, students are required to sit a 2-credit (ECTS) examination.
The examination consists of an oral test. The official dates will be published in due course.
Students must register for the examination via the Esse3Web portal (as for all other curricular examinations).
Important: students enrolled before the academic year 2025/2026
Students in Medicine and Surgery who enrolled before the academic year 2025/2026 and who do not have the Italian Language course as a curricular examination must sit the end-of-course test in October 2026.
This will be a computer-based written test. To check the test format and verify that your Moodle login credentials are working correctly, a DEMO Test is available here: Italian Demo Test.
